Chiropractic Treatment

Back Pain

Back pain, particularly in the lower back, is the second-most frequent
reason why people seek chiropractic health care. Anything from an injury, to
obesity, to serious degenerative conditions can cause chronic lower back
pain. Severe lower back pain has been most frequently linked to hyper
mobility, which simply means that your lower back area moves in a
contradictory way to the rest of your spine. This causes your lower back to
compensate for this movement and stabilize the area.

Get Help

If you suffer from chronic lower back pain, we invite you to come in for a
full examination and consultation. Most likely, we will prescribe a program
of therapeutic muscle stretching, which benefits the groups of muscles that
are involved in the strain being placed on your lower back area. Therapeutic
muscle stretching is most beneficial when combined with adjustments,
manipulations, and realignments of the spine.

Physical Therapy

After a serious injury or an operation, many people enter physical therapy
as part of their healing process. For an increasing number of Americans,
chiropractic care plays a vital role in their physical therapy treatment.
The stress on your body from the cause of your pain, as well as the physical
therapy, can cause subluxations, or "kinks" in your nervous system's wiring
- just like a kink in a garden hose.

Here to Help You Heal

We treat many patients that are undergoing a physical therapy routine, and
we work to incorporate chiropractic care into this routine - which in turn
increases the benefits of the physical therapy they're receiving.
If you're in physical therapy for the healing of an injury or as part of
your post-surgery healing process, come in today to see how chiropractic
care can give you additional help.

Chiropractic Treatment

As chiropractors, we follow the healing philosophy of chiropractic founder
Daniel David Palmer - that the manipulation of the spine by skilled hands
can lessen or eliminate many of the body's problems arising from the nervous
system. Chiropractic healing focuses on neuromusculoskeletal and general
health issues, and our techniques include:

* Traction
* Strength Training
* Massage
* Dry Needling
* Sports Medicine Techniques
* Exercise Regimens
* Holistic Techniques

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I'm not one to normally go to a chiropractor. When I was sent to Alternative Chiropractic for care, I was a little skeptical. I went to Dr. Bell after a car accident. Him and his office staff are wonderful. They do truly have compassion for their patients. They had me back to feeling great in no time. Wish I had known that it would have helped me so much. I often go back for adjustments just because it makes me feel so good. Highly recommended. Friendly atmosphere and the massages are awesome!!"

  • An Apple a Day . . .

    What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? Or is it, instead, a combination of all of these qualities, plus the natural goodness derived from the apple's secret ingredients — phytonutrients? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
